Everything Old is New Again !

VH-UXG is Des Porter's 2001 rebuilt Dragon.  He and Les Nixon flew it on an extensive patrol inland with Didge artist Adrian Ross.  They served families at Barcaldine, Birdsville, Charleville, Longreach, Yulara, Coober Pedy, Hawker, Broken Hill, Wilcannia,  Ivanhoe, Deniliquin, Canberra and Goulburn.  Flying all the way in Des's Dragon. Bankstown pilots had it for just one day.

Scale Model Dragon
Here's an exact flying replica of the Dragon ...      ... being put to the test.  Created by Rodger Farley in the US.

The Christmas Love Boxes is a service of Outback Patrol to families who live in remote towns in Australia too small for a church but too big to overlook.
